GIVING AT MIDLAND FREE
Welcome to the Midland Free giving platform!
We believe all that we have comes from the generous hand of God. It is not ours to keep; rather, we honor God by faithfully stewarding what He has given us. Our generosity in giving mirrors His sacrifice for us on the cross and is a response of joy for what He has done in our lives.
Please give your financial gifts in one of the following ways:
- On the App (Church Center)
- Online (on the web)
- Text Giving
- Other Giving Opportunities (Cash, Check, etc.)
Please see the information below for more detailed instructions on how to donate on the app, online, text giving, or via other giving opportunities such as check.
GIVING ON THE APP
It’s easiest to give on the app! If you haven’t already, please download and install the free Church Center app for Apple iOS or Android.
How to give on the Church Center App (either one-time gifts or recurring gifts):
- Open the Church Center App on your mobile device.
- Tap the Give icon in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter an amount.
- Select the FUND (General, Benevolence, Missions, Flood Response).
- Select the FREQUENCY.
- Enter your payment method.
- Click Give. Thank you!
To manage your account on the app, simply tap your profile icon in the upper right corner. You can view your giving history, update your payment methods, or edit your profile.

ONLINE GIVING

It’s simple to give online! Follow these steps:
- First, click this ONLINE GIVING link or the button.
- Next, enter an amount.
- Then, select the Fund (for example, General Fund, Benevolence, Missions or Flood Response).
- Enter your email address and name. Next, provide your payment details.
- Finally, click GIVE. We’ll send a receipt to your email address.
Congrats! You are now a registered giver at Midland Free. Thank you!
MANAGING YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT
Once you have become a registered online giver, you can then login to manage your account, update payment details, or modify a regularly recurring gift.
Follow these steps to manage your account:
- Follow this link and click the Login button in the upper right corner.
- Follow the prompts.
- Once you login for the first time, we’ll send a code to your phone or email address.
- Next, just verify the code, and you’re in!
- To set up a recurring (regularly scheduled) gift, click on the GIVE menu option and update the FREQUENCY.
- You can also manage your account by tapping on your profile icon in the upper right corner.

TEXT GIVING
Watch this quick video to learn how to use Text Giving at Midland Free. The steps are also listed below:
How to use Text Giving at Midland Free:
- Text any dollar amount to 84321. For example, if you would like to give $25.00 to Midland Free, simply text 25 to 84321.
- Next, tap on the link that is sent back to you.
- Select Midland Evangelical Free Church.
- Enter your email address for a receipt.
- Enter your payment information.
- That’s it! You’re all set up.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your text donation defaults to our General Fund. If you would like your text donation to go toward Benevolence, Missions, or the Flood Response Fund, you MUST add a keyword to your text AFTER the dollar amount.
- For example, if you want to donate $25.00 to Benevolence, text 25 Benevolence to 84321.
- To donate $25.00 to Missions, text 25 Missions to 84321.
The next time you want to use the text to give feature, just grab your phone and text an amount to 84321. Thank you!

OTHER GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
DONATION BOXES
For those who contribute by check or money, simply drop your offering in the donation boxes hanging on the back wall of the Worship Center or near the North and South main entrance doors in the lobby areas.
The church will provide all donors with a year-end written contribution statement reflecting all monetary (cash, check, credit card, etc.) contributions received.
DESIGNATED GIVING
The Board of Elders has provided for designated giving to the Benevolence Fund, Flood Response Fund, and to Missions (on a trip by trip basis) in specifically designated envelopes or through online giving. You can donate online to these funds by selecting the appropriate designated fund on the online giving form, or you can also donate by cash/check using envelopes provided in the Ministry Connections Boards. If you would like to designate a portion of your cash/check contribution, make a notation in the memo section of your check or the envelope.
DONATIONS OF STOCK OR OTHER SECURITIES
Donations of stock or other publicly traded securities can be done through the church’s account established with Mieske Financial Services, LLC. You may contact Matt Mieske at 989-631-8800. The church will issue acknowledgment letters for all donations of stock or other publicly traded securities.
DONATIONS OF VEHICLES
Through its Benevolence efforts, Midland Free may accept vehicle donations to transfer to those in need within the church body. To claim a charitable contribution, IRS rules require that the donor receive a written acknowledgment from the church. Please contact Pastor Gib Giblin via email if you are interested in donating a vehicle.
CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEM DONATIONS
Clothing and household good donations may be accepted at the discretion of the church. Receipts are available from the church for the donation of such items. IRS provision prohibits claiming a deduction for charitable contributions of clothing and household items if such items are not in good used condition or better. Please refer to IRS Pub 526 and IRS Pub 561 or consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your donations.
