The Care Ministry at Midland Free serves as the ‘hands,’ ‘eyes,’ and ‘ears’ of Jesus to the church family and community. They also equip and train other church members to use their gifts to serve and care for one another. Grief Share

What is Grief Share? GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centered, biblically based support group seminar. Grief Share is for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend through death. A grieving person can join at any time during the 13 weeks.  Each session shows a video presentation followed by small group discussion about the video. Benevolence

Life is hard. Sometimes we experience various trials in life and during those difficult times we may need more than prayer and encouragement. That’s where our Benevolence Ministry steps in to help members and regular attendees with basic needs. Our Benevolence assistance may involve financial help, food, home and car repair, and other tangible help. Stephen Ministry

Are you going through a difficult time? Do you need encouragement and support? Trained lay ministers from our church are here for you! A Stephen Minister will provide individual care for those who are experiencing life’s normal spiritual or emotional difficulties such as grief and loss, illness, marriage challenges, job situations, unexpected pregnancies, life transitions, and many other challenges. Stephen Ministers are supportive, encouraging, compassionate, and confidential. You are not meant to walk alone as you deal during painful times…

Vehicle Donations

Do you have a working vehicle in good condition that you no longer need or use? Please consider donating it for others in need who can’t afford to purchase one. Through our Benevolence efforts, Midland Free may accept vehicle donations to transfer to those in need within the church body.
