Midland Evangelical Free Church (Midland Free) is a Gospel-centered body of Christ followers in Midland, MI. We invite you and your family to join us as we explore God’s life-changing truth and build meaningful friendships with others. We share life’s adventures together, pray for and encourage each other, serve our community, reach out to others, and grow in our love for Jesus.

DENOMINATION
We are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). It is a denomination that originated in 1884 when Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish immigrants formed a fellowship of churches in Iowa which eventually merged in 1950 becoming known as the EFCA.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
The churches belonging to the EFCA are united around the theological convictions described in the Statement of Faith.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and sovereign power, God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.
We believe that a relationship with God and forgiveness of sins come only through personal trust in Jesus Christ and His completed work on the cross and resurrection from the dead. Salvation is a free gift of God offered to sinners through Jesus Christ, thus, our salvation cannot be earned through any of our own good deeds, merit, or personal striving.
We are united by a common desire to glorify and serve God in our individual lives, families, church, community, and world.
