Cindy Hannon took over as our accountant in October 2025. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Columbia College, MO, (minors in Finance and Management) and following her heart for missions, also obtained an M.A. in Global Studies and an M.A. in Teaching ESL from Liberty University, enriching her communication skills. She is a retired Navy veteran with over 20 years of accumulated experience in administration, leadership, and management.
Cindy is the mom of two who have recently turned her and her husband into empty nesters. She loves to serve and has volunteered with Midland Free since 2016 in numerous capacities, from Children’s and Youth ministries to missions and game night hostess. On the side, she is a tax specialist, enjoys the outdoors, and loves to travel. Her favorite volunteer jobs were being a DG leader, helping with missions, and being a Sunday School teacher.
She believes that the verse which best supports her drive is Colossians 3:23-24, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, …. You are serving the Lord Christ” as it applies to service that is paid, volunteer, or just done to maintain your home and family.
