OUR STORY

OUR STORY

In December 1983 six adults from Midland, who were commuting to services at the Bay City Evangelical Free Church, met in a Midland home for Bible study. Others joined and the group began laying a Biblical foundation for the church. On July 7, 1985, the first public worship service was held at the former Midland Motor Inn, with about 30 present.

In June 1989 the first worship service was held at the Gordon & Grove campus in Midland with 75 people in attendance. As the church grew the church relocated in August 1996 to the campus at 2138 North Jefferson Avenue. And the move to our current location at 7221 N. Jefferson Avenue occurred on March 11, 2005.

Midland Free is privileged to participate in the work God is doing in mid-Michigan and to the least reached peoples of the world. We are blessed so we can be a blessing to others. Our desire is to continue to follow our Lord as He continues to lead us step by step in the years to come.
