Chuck Lloyd

Pastor Chuck shepherds and leads disciple-making in the youth ministry for 6th – 12th graders. He came to Midland Free as a Youth Pastor in October 1995 after serving at a Methodist Church in Brick, New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Missouri (BA in Math Education) and has taken classes at three different seminaries including Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, MO.

Why is Chuck in youth ministry:  “I began in youth ministry because of my passion to share the truth with students and disciple them to follow Jesus. I am thinking that you may someday find my photo in the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s oldest youth pastor. My primary responsibility is to build disciples in 6th-12th grade students so they can love and serve the Lord with all of their heart, mind and strength not only during their school years, but also throughout their lives.”

One of his favorite books of the Bible is Esther because it is a fascinating story that shows the incredible providence of God. On his day off Chuck is most likely to be searching for new baseball cards to add to his collection. He is the president of the Michigan chapter of the St. Louis Cardinals fan club (as well as its only member). Chuck and his wife, Nicole, have three children.
