Jody Best has been serving on staff at Midland Free since 2005. She loves youth ministry (and pineapples!) and is such a blessing to so many in our church. Jody is dedicated, organized, and has a passion for youth discipleship and mentoring.
When reflecting on her role at Midland Free and her love for Jesus, Jody said, “I absolutely LOVE my job! Working with the next generation, sharing Jesus with them, helping them through difficult times, having fun with them, showing Christ’s love to them. It is a joy and blessing to me. I know that discipling these students will have a lasting eternal impact on their lives.”
“Over the last 15+ years and three different roles at the church, I have learned that everyone has a story and that listening shows care and love. When we allow ourselves to slow down and think about the people and not just the job, valuable relationships are built and it’s a great opportunity to show the love of Christ to others. Jesus was about relationships and He calls us to be also.”
