Steve Scott serves in Haiti with Raise the Roof Ministries. Working in agriculture, Steve’s goal is to triple the income of 100 small acreage farmers in rural Haiti. Their vision is to move 500-700 people from abject poverty to Haitian middle class — all with the goal of strengthening families, to strengthen the local church, to strengthen communities for the Glory of God.
PRAYER REQUESTS
- Pray for the health and growth of our animal flocks and herds, to increase the number of animals to train and to provide our neighbors with their own.
- Pray for the students all over Haiti to be able to continue to attend school. Between riots last year and COVID-19 this year, they have experienced major disruptions.
- Pray for healing for Haiti as a broken nation with suffering citizens. Their politics and economy are broken, COVID-19 has disrupted things, the people do not feel safe, the gangs are better armed than the police, and basic services are not available.
- Pray for wisdom to discern what ministry should look like post-COVID-19.
- Pray for all the details to come together for creating Hayti: a business for growing, harvesting, and marketing hay and by-products.
